Our Story
Thai Food 2U was born out of a love for authentic Thai food and a desire to bring the true flavours of Thailand to the heart of Bedfordshire. As a small family business based in Sandy, we started with a simple mission: to make genuine Thai ingredients — the kind you'd find in a Bangkok market — accessible to everyone in the UK.
What began as a passion project has grown into a thriving community hub for Thai food lovers, expats missing the tastes of home, and adventurous home cooks eager to explore Southeast Asian cuisine. Every decision we make is guided by our family values: quality, honesty, and a genuine care for our customers.
Fresh from Thailand, Every Week
One of the things we're most proud of is our weekly fresh imports direct from Thailand. Every week, we receive a new shipment of fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs, and produce — sourced carefully to ensure you're getting the real thing, not a substitute. From fresh galangal and kaffir lime leaves to Thai aubergines and morning glory, if it grows in Thailand, we do our best to stock it.
We currently carry over 1,200 products, spanning fresh produce, dried goods, sauces, pastes, noodles, snacks, and ready-to-cook ingredients. Whether you're cooking a simple pad thai or an elaborate royal Thai feast, you'll find what you need with us.
